I make pictures that look like the people in them, not the camera setting that captured them.

I'm a New York-based photographer focused on editorial portrait, fashion, and documentary work. My commissioned work has appeared in publications and brand campaigns across the US, UK, and Japan.
I shoot mostly with available light, occasionally with a single hard source. Hasselblad 500CM for personal work, Canon R5 for commission. The whole studio is six minutes from the L train.
Photography
Editorial portrait, fashion lookbooks, and documentary projects. Studio and on-location.
Graphic design
Print and digital identity. Often paired with the photography commissions when the client needs both.
Print design
Photo books, zines, and editorial layouts. I produce one self-published book a year through Hatje Cantz.
